About Our School

WELCOME TO OUR WONDERFUL SCHOOL

We hope that you will find this site both interesting and informative whether you are a pupil at our school, a parent/carer, or indeed a visitor. Our website will give you some factual information about our school so that you gain a good idea of what we feel are the important values that make our school a special place.

Our school core values are Achieve, Respect, Cooperate (when using the first letters of the values, we have 'ARC' - which links to our rainbow arc logo),  they are intrinsic to school life. We are incredibly proud of our school community and everybody who contributes to the life of St Saviour's School.  Team work is an essential component for this to happen and this is reflected in our mission statement ‘Partners in Building a Future.’  We view education as a joint venture, involving everyone – children, parents, staff and the wider community.

We provide a friendly, caring, calm atmosphere where we deliver the curriculum, through high quality teaching and a stimulating learning environment, so that the pupils achieve the highest possible standards in all areas of school life. We are extremely proud to be a place of safety and inclusion for all.

Through our school core values and our Golden Rules, each pupil learns to respect and care for others, to develop a love of learning and a desire to succeed. This enables our pupils to discover what is unique and special about them. They are proud of their achievements and proud of our school. Our school values high attendance and works closely with families and, where appropriate, other agencies, to ensure every pupil attends school and makes progress.

Safeguarding is a key priority at St Saviour's School and underpins all that we do.  In this regard, we focus on promoting welfare and keeping pupils safe at all times. It is a priority for everyone in our school community.
